Walter Schrader
Physician, General Practitioner, Chemical Pollution Expert
Dr. Walter Schrader is a Dutch general practitioner, humanitarian, and lifelong environmental and animal rights advocate. In his youth, he led a symbolic walk from Leiden to Assisi to advocate for the legal protection of migratory birds and animal welfare.
Throughout his career, Dr. Schrader has been deeply involved in environmental activism, including initiating legal actions against illegal waste dumping in nature reserves. He has also conducted research on vitamin B12 in plant-based foods during his secondary school education.
Currently, Dr. Schrader focuses on the environmental impacts of pharmaceutical waste, particularly concerning the effects of toxic mixtures of PFAS, pharmaceutical residues, insecticides, and pesticides on surface water and drinking water quality
