Rewilding Futures; Keep it Wild; European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture
Artist & Filmmaker from Dartmoor, UK. 30 years blending art, rewilding and regenerative farming. She will paint featured species live during the conference, capturing rewilding stories through vibrant, nature-inspired art.
Throughout the congress, Nick Viney has been quietly but powerfully capturing the energy, knowledge, and emotion of the event — not in words, but in paint.
In the span of collaborative live sessions, Nick and participants created a single, evolving artwork that weaves together the stories, visions, and wild wisdom shared by our speakers. The result is a visual journey through the challenges and opportunities of restoring ecosystems, landscapes — and ourselves.
From regenerative farming to biodiversity revival, and from policy shifts to soul-deep reconnection, the painting reflects the very heart of what rewilding stands for: complexity, resilience, and renewal.
And who better to present the final work than Derek Gow — rewilding rebel, storyteller, and now… auctioneer.
This one-of-a-kind piece has been auctioned live, with proceeds supporting grassroots rewilding initiatives. Sir Humphry Wakefield had the highest bid and will add the painting to the collection of Chillingham castle.
A painting, a conversation, a legacy — captured in colour and wild imagination.
Watch “Farming the Flood” made by South West-based filmmaker Harrison Wood and Dartmoor regenerative farmer Nick Viney of Leewood Studios, the film tells the stories of farmers who are actively shaping sustainable land management across the UK.
